What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign® are the original fast smile clear aligner pioneers. They’ve been changing smiles and revolutionising the cosmetic dentistry industry since the 1990s.

What makes Invisalign® different?

Invisalign® use their own patented SmartTrack material to make their bespoke clear aligner trays, while their 3D ClinCheck technology allows us to give patients a clear idea of how their teeth are likely to move, and at what stage of the process.

What is getting Invisalign® actually like?

Getting Invisalign® takes the stress out of getting straighter teeth. You’ll have an iTero® 3D scan of your mouth taken here at the practice, and your individual aligners will be made for you by expert technicians. Once your aligners are ready, you’ll return to the practice to have them fitted.

Throughout the whole process, you should expect to switch out your aligners every week or so. This is to ensure the teeth move and progress in the direction set out by the 3D ClinCheck technology.

How long do I have to wear my Invisalign® for?

The exact length of time you have to wear your clear aligners will depend on the position of your teeth at the start of the treatment. However, most patients wear theirs for between nine and 18 months.

Do I have to wear my Invisalign® every day?

You will need to wear your Invisalign® clear aligners day and night in order to see the best results. You can, of course, remove them for eating, brushing your teeth, and flossing.
